MirrorBall

During my first year studying Film and TV at Amersham College, I was given complete creative freedom to develop my Final Major Project. I chose to create a short film centred on connection, loneliness and the reassurance that we are not alone in the feelings we experience.

My aim was to create something audiences could relate to on a personal level, offering a sense of understanding and connection to those who may sometimes feel isolated.

Taylor Swifts song Mirrorball served as a key creative influence, inspiring the project’s themes and emotional direction. Through this film, I wanted to explore how visual storytelling can communicate personal experience and create an emotional connection between a film and the audience.
